About Me

In 2019, I enrolled in a Higher Technical Professional Course in Cybersecurity. As part of that path, I completed two internships that gave me valuable hands-on experience and confirmed my interest in the field.

After completing the course, I began a Bachelor's degree in Informatics Engineering at Instituto Politécnico de Bragança. During that time, I also had the opportunity to participate in an Erasmus program in Rijeka, Croatia, from March to June 2024. It was a meaningful experience that helped me improve my English and broaden my cultural understanding, but above all, it was a moment of personal growth, which I consider the most important part of the journey.

I finished the Bachelor's in September 2024 and immediately started a Master's in Informatics, which I’m currently attending. This stage has been focused on improving my skills.

Outside of academics, I'm passionate about technology and video games. I enjoy spending time on my own, as well as with friends and family. I'm also a football enthusiast and find great joy in exploring new places through travel.

Cybersecurity Intern

Hospital Terra Quente – Mirandela, Bragança

Jun 2021 - Sep 2021

Conducted port scanning, software verification, and CVE analysis to enhance network security.
Created a network asset inventory and performed configuration audits to identify vulnerabilities.
Implemented Wazuh for threat detection and compliance monitoring.
Worked with IT teams to mitigate real-time security risks.

Cybersecurity Intern

EsACT IPB – Mirandela, Bragança

Improved student network security by analyzing OSINT sources and documenting an asset inventory.
Performed port scans, vulnerability assessments (CVE-based), and network traffic analysis.
Deployed Wazuh to enhance threat detection and security monitoring.
